Praise The Lord! As of April 17th there are now 27 people praying alongside our church!

MVGBC Praises
12 for 12
27 people have agreed to pray alongside us (two new saints have joined since the last update)!
Saints are praying in California, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Virginia
Those praying represent a variety of denominations such as: Baptist, the Evangelical Free Church of America, Evangelical Friends Church International, the First Church of God, the United Methodist Church, and the Orthodox Presbyterian Church.
Personal Connections are Increasing
All of the adults in our congregation have been making new connections recently — this is encouraging!
Some are also reconnecting with folks from the past
A man that Pastor Justin just met in February is now praying alongside us for 12 for 12!
Financial Praises!
A brother in Christ has kindly offered to give a vehicle to Pastor Justin and Rachel!
We praise The Lord for His divine generousity and for the gifts that His people offer to Him and one another (1 John 3:18)
Wetzel Bryant was given a push mower which he is lending to the church to mow around Meadowside Playground!
The church printer needed $750 of color toner, but we were able to purchse a used printer that included toner cartridges that were 70-100% full for only $125!

Please continue to pray for a pianist to accompany our Sunday morning worship services
We did have a guest pianist on Easter Sunday!
Finances
Pray for financial provision for the church so that God’s work can continue in our community, through our congregation
Pray for the resources needed to makes repairs to the vehicle that is being given to Pastor Justin and his family

Lambkins Class
Lambkins is our kids class, currently ages 5-10
Pastor Justin is teaching the Lambkins about different types of Biblical love
Recent lessons include: 1. Parental love (Matthew 23:37) 2. Friendly/brotherly love (1 Peter 3:8)
An upcoming lesson will cover sacrificial love
Upcoming Events & Labor
Game Night
April 17th, 2026 at 7pm
14 people attended our last game night including community members who do not attend church and one man who used to attend our services.
Rural Life Sunday
Scheduled for May 3rd, 2026
This event is in conjunction with the Ohio State Grange
Grange Members from across the state are invited to attend our morning worship service
Our worship service will align with the topic of rural life
Guest Speaker
Ron Reffett will be sharing his testimony with us on May 17th, 2026
Ron has been married twice and has been widowed both times
His first wife Kris, and second wife Jeanie both died of cancer
This evening service will touch on Ron’s testimony of remarkable joy and peace that passes understanding in the face of grief and death
Meadowside Playground
The playground opened August 1st, 2025
This Spring we need to make improvements to the playground, including installation of a new embankment slide
We plan to continue promoting the playground to our community — the new toner cartridges will help with these promotions
There is need for resources to help with ongoing maintenance needs
