The Project Continues!

Our project will continue the Autumn of 2025. Within the coming months we plan to:

  1. Install an embankment slide and 2. Overseed the wildflower meadow


Wildflowers and Plants Observed

The following plants have been observed in the ~4 acre wildflower meadow

False sunflower (heliopsis helianthoides)

The following trees and bushes have been recently planted on the church property

12 Arborvitae bushes (thuja plicata)

3 Black Chokeberry bushes (aronia melanocarpa)

3 Common Elderberry bushes (sambucus nigra)

3 Silky Dogwood bushes (cornus amomum)

3 Hazel bushes (corylus avellana)

24 Bushes Total

2 Redbud trees (cercis canadensis)

3 Red Jewel Flowering Crab trees (malus jewelcole)

5 Red Maple trees (acer rubrum)

3 Swamp White Oak trees (quercus bicolor)

2 White Oak trees (quercus alba)
