Beautify and better steward the land
Feed pollinators like honeybees and monarch butterflies
This year we plan to…
Overseed the existing meadow and
Build an adjacent natural playground
Our playground plan includes…
An embankment slide, balance beams, sandstone boulders, a grass maze and hopefully much more!
Project Timeline
Spring 2019: Meadow planted (complete)
Autumn 2024: Playground design (Phase 1 is complete)
Winter-Spring 2025: Fundraising for playground (Phase 2 is complete)
Spring 2025: Material collection (Phase 3 is nearly complete)
Summer 2025: Playground construction (Phase 4 is in progress)
Autumn 2025: The existing wildflower meadow needs to be overseeded (Phase 5)
